Credit for the post-processing design of this image goes to Jon Tobey of GoIntoTheLight; it was on his suggestion that this image was cropped and converted to black and white. I myself tried various ways of processing the image, but never considered turning it monochrome or cropping the image from its original landscape orientation into portrait.

One thing I’m not very good at is naming photos. When I was prepping a lot of the images for this blog my wife was mocking me for calling them “swan” and “castle” rather than something more… ‘creative’!
